Welcome to my capstone e-portfolio. My name is Jana Garza. I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student at the University of Incarnate Word (UIW) in San Antonio, TX. The education that I received at UIW prepared me to become a leader in bringing evidence-based knowledge into clinical practice, improving healthcare outcomes and strengthening nursing management and education. The DNP program at UIW prepared me as a practice scholar to conduct independent research and to develop and disseminate knowledge to improve health and the delivery of healthcare.
