SUMMARY OF PREVIOUS NURSING DUTIES
Duties as a Family Nurse Practitioner have consisted of providing primary care to pediatric and adult patients. I obtain health and medical histories of patients, execute age-based physical examinations, perform preventative screening tests, which can include vision, hearing and laboratory tests. I identify risks the patient may have and outline needs of the patient. I promote and provide health education and I also order diagnostic tests appropriate to patient’s needs. I evaluate patient’s health, medical history, and diagnostic tests to assist with diagnosing, and prescribe medications as necessary to promote prompt healing.
